What an ORE Part 1 course includes

Our ore part 1 course guide explains what overseas dentists need: the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) Part 1 assesses whether your knowledge matches the standard expected of a newly qualified UK dentist. Paper A and Paper B cover applied basic sciences, clinical sciences, and topics such as pharmacology, pathology, radiography and dental materials.

Most successful candidates prepare through self-study: the revision book, question bank and mock exam papers from Enamel Academy. Focused tutor sessions (£60) are optional if you want live help on specific subjects.

This ORE Part 1 course guide explains what overseas dentists need for UK registration through the ORE route. Use our ORE Part 1 course resources alongside official GDC guidance and Enamel Academy courses for structured preparation. See also: ORE study plan, ORE question bank, Free ORE questions.
