Medical Emergencies in Dental Practice

Dental teams can face sudden medical emergencies with very little warning. This course walks clinicians through the practical recognition and management of common emergency presentations, including collapse, chest pain, breathing difficulties, seizures, diabetic events and anaphylaxis. It also covers emergency drug checks, team roles, oxygen use and documentation after an incident. The emphasis is on building calm, repeatable systems that help the whole team respond quickly and safely when a patient deteriorates.
