Hi, I’m Dr. Ishaq Mahmood
I graduated from Liverpool University in 2012 and began my career with a year of training in Maxillofacial Surgery, gaining hands-on surgical experience early on.

Since then, I’ve worked across NHS and private general practice, developing a wide range of clinical skills and a strong passion for high-quality, patient-centred care.

My postgraduate qualifications include:

PGCert in Clinical Education
MSc in Restorative Dentistry from Birmingham University

I’ve also been an Educational Supervisor for Dental Foundation Training for the past 6 years, supporting new dentists through their early careers.

My particular interest is in the management of tooth wear, especially using direct restorative techniques that restore both function and aesthetics.

I’m excited to deliver this course and help colleagues like you navigate the periodontal landscape with confidence and clarity within the NHS framework.
